What are the motorcoach requirements at Hearthside Grove?
Hearthside Grove is a Class A motorcoach resort.
Our Owner's Association defined Class A in the traditional sense as motor homes and converted buses with a flat front (not a truck, van or semi-front end). We understand the appeal of other types of coaches and trailers, but we don't have a provision to host those units as either a guest or owners. Additionally, Class A motorcoaches must be a minimum of 30 feet in length and be no older than ten years of age.

How do I book a luxury lot at Hearthside Grove?

What type of hook-ups are on the rental lots?
Every Rental Lot at Hearthside Grove has full hook-ups with 50 amp service, sewer, water and WiFi. Each lot has at lease a 20x70 brick paver or paved pad to park your coach and any tow vehicles. Standard Plus, Deluxe, Premium, Premium Plus and Luxury lots have different amenities such as water view, enhanced furniture, fire pit/feature, fireplace, pergola, grill, outside kitchen, or a water feature.

Can I rent a golf cart from Hearthside Grove?
We have a limited number of golf carts available for rent between early May and early October. We recommend reserving the golf carts as early as possible, preferably immediately after you make your lot reservation. You can either book a golf cart by clicking here or by calling our office at 888-476-8388, and one of our guest services professionals will be glad to help you.

Is booking online secure?
We use a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Can I bring my pet with me?
A maximum of two well-mannered and quiet pets are allowed on each lot; however, except for service animals, pets are not allowed inside bungalows, clubhouses or pool areas. Pet owners must keep their pets on a leash that is no more than 6 feet in length (except in the dog run located near the front gate) and promptly pick up after their pet. Don't hesitate to contact guest services at 888-429-3992 with any questions.

Is the bungalow included in my lot rental?
Bungalows are NOT included in the rental rate. We DO have some lots where the bungalow is available at an additional cost when renting those limited properties. Call our reservationist to see if there is a bungalow available for the time of your visit!

Is my lot selection guaranteed?
Typically, the answer is yes; however, we are a lot ownership resort which means that, in the unlikely event the owner of the rental lot you selected sells or removes the property from the rental pool, you will be notified as soon as possible to discuss a suitable replacement lot.

How much of a deposit is required, and when is the balance due?
All reservations made ten days or more before arrival require a 50% deposit to hold chosen dates, with the balance due ten days before arrival. Reservations made within ten days of arrival will be charged in full for the entire reservation.

What is Hearthside Grove's cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy: Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your reservation.

         - For stays shorter than 14 days: A cancellation processing fee of $50 will be charged if a reservation is canceled more than 14 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of 50% of the cost for your entire stay.
 
         - For stays longer than 14 days: A cancellation processing fee of $50 will be charged if a reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of 25% of the cost for your entire stay. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of 50% of your entire stay.

Does Hearthside Grove allow outdoor fires, and can we add decorations like flags and banners to our lot?
Fires are a big part of the RV lifestyle and important to us at Hearthside Grove as they are an excellent way to spend a crisp evening outdoors! To ensure that all our guests and owners enjoy their evenings without smoke from wood fires, we limit all fires to gas only. Suppose you are not staying on a lot with a gas fireplace. In that case, we encourage you to enjoy the oversized fireplace in the Main Clubhouse or, even better, make friends with one of our lot owners, many of whom have spectacular fireplaces and fire pits. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the natural beauty and landscaping of the resort rather than decorate their sites with temporary or permanent ornamentation. Please refrain from using outdoor tents, hammocks hung from trees, lawn decorations, flags, banners, screen rooms or other temporary enclosures.

When can we check in to the resort, and what time do we need to check out?
We ask our guests to check in after 1 PM and check out should be 11 AM. Please notify us as early as possible if you would like to inquire about the possibility of early check-in or late check-out.

Is it permissible to wash my motorcoach while visiting Hearthside Grove?
Absolutely, we encourage guests to keep their rigs looking spiffy. Please feel free to wash your motorcoach and tow vehicles on-site yourself or hire one of our local professional detailing companies to do the work for you. Please contact our helpful office staff at the Welcome Center to get phone numbers for local contractors.

What are the pool and spa use hours?
The pool is open from sun up till sun down. We ask that guests please be courteous in their use of the pool and pool area, taking extra care to limit noise. The Hearthside Grove pool and spa may need to be closed occasionally for maintenance and special events. We do not have a lifeguard on duty, so guests may use the pool and spa at their own risk. We do not allow glass container or pets inside the fenced area surrounding the pool for safety reasons. We ask that all children under the age of 16. Be accompanied by parents and/pr grandparents in the clubhouses and pool area.

Is it permissible to use my gas golf cart, scooter as transportation while visiting Hearthside Grove?
At Hearthside Grove, we love all of the toys that come with enjoying the great outdoors. However, due to noise and pollution restrictions, we do not allow gas-powered golf carts, scooters, etc. All vehicles, except for cars and motorcycles, must be electrically powered.

What type of transportation is available to and from Hearthside Grove?
Since Petoskey is relatively rural, Ubers and Lyfts can be sparse or nonexistent. We recommend towing a car during your stay or renting a vehicle while in Northern Michigan. A list of car rentals and other transportation services can be found via PetoskeyArea.com.

Is it permissible to store my trailer on my rental lot?
Trailers are not allowed to be stored on rental lots. However we do have storage for trailers available at an additional cost. A staff member will move it to and from the storage lot. Please let our reservationist know ahead of time when you are planning to bring a trailer during your visit.

What are the Offices in Ciderpress Clubhouse hours?
The Offices in Ciderpress Clubhouse is located inside the Ciderpress Clubhouse and is the place where you register upon arrival, meet with our sales team, plan your stay, schedule a tour of the resort, and receive mail and package deliveries. The Welcome Center hours are Mon.-Sat. 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary throughout the year so please contact the Welcome Center office to confirm). Off-season hours may vary.

What forms of payment does Hearthside Grove accept?
Hearthside Grove accepts credit card payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover, cash or checks.

We use a Credit card processor called YAPSTONE this will show up when your deposit and final payment are taken. Yapstone or YPS Processing is a credit card processor that we use out of California.

Does your luxury Motor Coach Resort provide full hookup sites?
Yes, we provide full hookup sites on all properties. This includes: Water, electric, sewer and Wifi.

Do you offer private gated access?
Yes! Our community is only accessed by gates in which guests receive the code upon check in.

What type of high-end amenities do you provide?
Our resort has 2 clubhouses, with laundry gyms, and kitchens in each. There are pool and spa, recreation room, theatre, pickleball courts and a dog run all usable by guests.

No, you can enjoy the property with your motorcoach, rent it out and then if and when you are ready to personalize it our team can assist.

You can build as little or as much as you wish and also do it in phases over time.
