Any time of year is a good time of year to visit Northern Michigan. Hot sunshine in the summer, followed by a crisp and colorful fall, with cozy winters by the fire and an exciting spring watching the greenery re-emerge – and there’s no place better to mark these beautiful transformations of season than from the balcony at Petoskey Farms Vineyard & Winery.

See it all with your own eyes while enjoying fine, local wine, soaking in the magnificence of life, and making memories with your loved ones.

Located just 3 miles to the east of Petoskey, the setting is the iconic peaceful countryside. An enclosed, outdoor patio with a front-row view of the vineyard is the perfect place to get a taste of the mouth-watering, hardy varietals that come from being North of the 45th parallel.

The 22 acre land is where 2,000 vines make root for 3-5 before being harvested. The winery bottles and serves Petoskey Red, Petoskey White, as well as a late harvest Riesling, fruit wine, as well as a smooth Chardonnay.

You are welcome to visit the Wine Tasting room during regular hours, Monday-Saturday, 11am – 6pm or call to schedule a time that works best for you.

Tastings will give you a chance to sample a little of everything on the wine menu and are accompanied by a palate-cleansing snack. You will not leave empty handed, the tasting also includes a stem-less or stemmed souvenir glass you can take with you back home to remember the relaxing feeling of the countryside and vineyard.

Currently Petoskey Farms only ships within Michigan, so be sure to stock up on your favourite Petoskey wines before you go!

If you are planning a trip to see the magnificence for yourself, be sure to come by on a Thursday evening between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Every Thursday from 5pm – 8pm, we host live music to please your ears, local food to fill your belly and food trucks for an ever-impressive evening in the finest Petoskey Farms style.

Also there’s something special coming up in the fall of 2016… The current grape vines are in year three of their maturation, meaning that after one more winter, spring and summer and they will be ready to be harvested!
