Spring into the season!
In Northern Michigan we have several ways to know that Spring has finally arrived, and it’s not just the mercury in our thermometers or the robins building their nests, it’s the official opening of some of our favorite seasonal haunts, including the Bay View Association. The Association is now open for the season, as is the wonderful Terrace Inn where jazz has already begun to fill the air.
A little further south, the Cafe Espreance announces its opening with a fifty seat restaurant/wine bar offering sumptuous lunch and dinner menus that are created in harmony with the best local produce. Like Michigan’s state bird the robin, Birchwood construction crews are readying Hearthside Grove for the blossoming season. They’ve worked through the cold and the damp and the dark to arrive at last in the smiling sunshine seen here, surrounding Hearthside Grove’s majestic welcome entrance.
