All roads lead to Rome ~ All compasses point North
One of Northern Michigan’s finest golf clubs, True North Golf Resort in Harbor Springs, hosted Hearthside Grove this week for a fabulous dinner in their premier restaurant, The Compass Room. The land rolls gorgeously around the main clubhouse, creating spectaular views through the tall windows of the Compass Room, creating an ambience that can’t be beat for dining. We partook of the salmon cake appetizers as well as the made-to-order guacamole and chips. Elk was the popular main course choice, as well as steak and seared tuna. The wild mushroom rissoto that accompanied the elk was, mmmm, a wonderful accent on the meal. The Compass Room has high ceilings with light wood beams that create a warm and inviting atmosphere where golfers and diners can feel quite comfortable while enjoying the elegant flair of the menu. Our thanks, and Bravo! to John and Marcia Hover, whose dedication to being the best shines through! Visit them online at www.truenorthgolf.com and be sure to join us for True North’s “Nine and Dine” golfing special! Stay at Hearthside and enjoy golf and dinner at True North for a special rate that will make for a terrific Fall experience in Northern Michigan that you don’t want to miss.
